Form a private limited company (Ltd) at the Malta Business Registry — minimum capital €1,164.69 with 20% paid up, a single member permitted, company secretary mandatory — for a verified electronic registration fee of €100. The corporate income-tax rate is 35%, but Malta's full-imputation system commonly refunds shareholders 6/7ths of the Malta tax on distributed trading income for an effective combined rate near 5%; standard VAT is 18%. Malta has deferred Pillar Two (the 15% top-up tax) to end-2029. Both Maltese and English are official; English alone is fully sufficient.
