Georgia
Register an LLC, JSC, partnership or branch at the NAPR through a Public Service Hall for a 200 GEL state fee on a one-working-day deadline, or 400 GEL same-day — an individual entrepreneur is 26 GEL, or 75 GEL same-day. An LLC has no minimum share capital, 100% foreign ownership is permitted and no resident director is required; a taxpayer identification number is assigned at registration. Corporate income tax follows the Estonian distributed-profit model — 0% on retained or reinvested profit and 15% only on distributions — with VAT at 18% once turnover passes 100,000 GEL in any continuous 12-month period, payroll income tax at a flat 20% and 5% withholding on dividends, interest and royalties; an individual entrepreneur with Small Business Status pays 1% of turnover up to 500,000 GEL. NAPR and Sakpatenti run usable English sections and NAPR issues English register extracts for an additional 26 GEL, but the Revenue Service portal is Georgian-first, so day-to-day tax administration realistically needs local support.
