Switzerland
Form a GmbH/Sàrl (CHF 20,000 capital, fully paid in) or an AG/SA (CHF 100,000, CHF 50,000 paid in) before a Swiss notary, enter it in the cantonal Commercial Register and index it on Zefix — with at least one Swiss-domiciled signatory. Profit tax is levied at three levels: federal (a flat 8.5%, effective ~7.83%) plus cantonal and communal, giving a combined effective rate that varies by canton (roughly 11.9%–21%). Standard VAT is 8.1% and dividends bear 35% federal withholding tax. The binding deed and register filing are in the canton's official language (German, French or Italian), not English.
