Trademark Registration in Switzerland
A Swiss national trade mark at the IPI/IGE — the filing fee of CHF 550 (reduced to CHF 450 when filed electronically via e-trademark) covers up to three Nice classes and 10 years of protection, with CHF 100 for each class from the fourth. The mark covers Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Switzerland is NOT in the EU, so there is no EUIPO route covering it; multi-country protection is sought via the Madrid System (WIPO) based on the Swiss national mark.
