Register a Pty Ltd with ASIC by lodging Form 201 — no notarised documents, but every director needs a Director ID from the ABRS before appointment and at least one director must ordinarily reside in Australia — then take the ABN, business TFN and GST registration free through the Australian Business Register. GST is 10% and registration is compulsory at AUD 75,000 of turnover; company tax is 25% for a base rate entity (aggregated turnover under AUD 50m) and 30% otherwise, and the superannuation guarantee is 12% of ordinary time earnings. ASIC dollar fees are shown unpriced and are re-indexed every 1 July, and every ATO rate and due date is confirmed against the ATO lodgement program at engagement — ASIC's fee schedule and ato.gov.au both defeated the research fetcher, so we quote from the live pages rather than from a cached figure.
