The Ministry of Labour and Employment issued commencement notifications on 21 November 2025 under section 1(3) of each Code. 5319(E) appoints 21 November 2025 as the date on which the provisions of the Code on Social Security, 2020 up to section 143 come into force, except the provisions specified at serial number (v) of S.O. 5322(E) appoints 21 November 2025 as the date on which the provisions of the Code on Wages, 2019 up to section 69 come into force, except the provisions at serial number 3 of S.O.
