Tax Registration in Vietnam
Initial tax registration with the General Department of Taxation. The tax code is issued together with the ERC, after which the company completes initial tax registration and adopts mandatory e-invoicing connected to the tax authority. Corporate income tax is 20%; VAT is 10%, reduced to 8% for most goods and services through 31 December 2026. There is no government fee to register, and — from 1 January 2026 — the annual business-licence tax (thuế môn bài) is abolished.
