Tax Filing & Returns in Vietnam
Preparation and filing of Vietnam's periodic and annual returns. Corporate income tax (20%) is paid by provisional quarterly instalments (by the 30th of the following quarter, with the four instalments required to total at least 80% of the final liability) and finalised annually with the audited financial statements by the last day of the 3rd month after year-end. VAT (standard 10%, reduced to 8% for most goods/services through 31 December 2026) is filed monthly (by the 20th) or quarterly for smaller taxpayers. Employer PIT withholding and, where applicable, foreign contractor tax (FCT) are also declared.

Cost breakdown
Our fee and the government’s are always separate lines. Government fees are passed through at exactly what the authority charges — we add nothing to them.
| Statutory filing feeNo filing fee; tax due is separate. The VAT rate (10%, reduced to 8% through 31 December 2026) is confirmed against the official government portal (Resolution 204/2025/QH15 + Decree 174/2025/ND-CP); the 8% cut excludes telecoms, financial/banking/securities/insurance, real estate, most metals/minerals and special-consumption-tax goods. The CIT rate (20%), the 80% provisional-payment rule and the return deadlines are PwC/advisory-corroborated, not statute-cited — confirm against the Law on Tax Administration 38/2019/QH14 and Decree 126/2020/ND-CP. | No statutory feeIndicative — from gdt.gov.vn, not confirmed on a government portal. We confirm the exact amount before you pay. |
