Trademark Registration in Thailand
Thai national trade mark application with the DIP — filing is per class, and the fee is charged per item of goods/services where 1–5 items are claimed in a class (THB 1,000 each) or as a flat THB 9,000 where more than 5 items are claimed. Correct Nice classification is required, and a foreign applicant not domiciled in Thailand must act through a local agent under a power of attorney. Registration runs 10 years from the filing date, renewable for successive 10-year periods.
