Trademark Registration in Philippines
Philippine trade mark application with IPOPHL — filed and charged PER CLASS under the Nice Classification. A 30-day opposition window runs from publication in the IPOPHL e-Gazette, and the mark is protected for 10 years, renewable. Use in the Philippines must be proven by a notarised Declaration of Actual Use (DAU) within 3 years of filing, again within 1 year of the 5th anniversary, and on each renewal; non-filing forfeits the mark. Fees follow a small-entity / big-entity split (small entity = total assets of PHP 100,000,000 or less).
