Tax Filing & Returns in Panama
Preparation and filing of the annual corporate income-tax return (declaración jurada de rentas) and, where the entity makes taxable Panama supplies, the periodic ITBMS declaration. Panama is TERRITORIAL: legal entities pay 25% on net taxable Panama-source income and foreign-source income of a Panama entity is exempt, so an entity whose activity is carried on and used abroad has no taxable Panamanian income — filing and registration obligations can still apply and are confirmed with the DGI. Returns are filed in Spanish.
