Notice Response in Oman
Answer a notice from a Oman authority inside the deadline it sets. These are the notice types the research run documented, each with the response the authority actually requires. A deadline the research could not confirm is shown as unconfirmed rather than guessed.
What we will need from you
Upload these once. They are stored encrypted and reused across every service you buy from us.
Corporate income tax assessment / demand - Late or incorrect tax return, underpayment, failure to register, or audit finding
File/correct the return and pay tax plus any penalties and additional tax through the OTA portal, or lodge an objection within the statutory objection period. (not verified against the authority's own page)
VAT assessment / penalty notice - Late or missing VAT return, failure to register at the OMR 38,500 threshold, or incorrect VAT accounting
File the return, pay VAT and penalties, or object within the statutory window; e-invoicing (Fawtara) non-compliance will attract its own penalties once mandatory. (not verified against the authority's own page)
Withholding tax default notice - Failure to deduct/remit 10% withholding on a payment to a non-resident by the 14th-of-following-month deadline
Remit the withheld tax plus additional tax/penalty to the OTA. (not verified against the authority's own page)
Commercial registration / renewal non-compliance - Failure to renew the Commercial Registration / OCCI membership or maintain the municipality licence
Renew and pay outstanding fees/fines through Invest Easy; persistent default can lead to suspension or striking-off of the CR. (not verified against the authority's own page)
Cost breakdown
Our fee and the government’s are always separate lines. Government fees are passed through at exactly what the authority charges — we add nothing to them.
| Authority fee, where the notice carries oneonly if it appliesA notice fee depends on the notice and the stage it is answered at, and the research records no single published figure. | Confirmed before payment |
| Comriq professional fee | Fixed fee within 1 business day |
