Trademark Registration in Nepal
Trade-mark registration with the Department of Industry under the Patent, Design and Trade Mark Act 2022 (1965) — an application (with four specimens of the mark) is filed in the Schedule 1(C) form, a separate application per Nice-style class, and the certificate issues after examination. Registration is published, and any person may object within 35 days of publication. A registered mark is valid for 7 years and is renewable any number of times for successive 7-year terms; a mark not used within one year of registration may be cancelled.

A SEPARATE application must be filed per class (s.18A), so the application and registration fees multiply per class.
Applicant identity and address
For a foreign applicant: foreign registration certificate (for the prior-foreign-registration route) and appointment of a Nepal attorney/legal practitioner
A mark registered abroad is not valid in Nepal unless registered here (s.21B); the DoI may register a foreign-registered mark on production of the certificate and extend Paris Convention facilities (s.21C). An appointed attorney's acts are deemed the applicant's (s.20) — a resident agent is not on its face mandatory but is effectively necessary in practice.
