Tax Registration in Nepal
Registration with the Inland Revenue Department for a Permanent Account Number (PAN) — required for every company after incorporation — and for VAT where the activity mandates it or turnover crosses the threshold (commonly cited as NPR 5,000,000 for goods and NPR 3,000,000 for services, adjusted by the annual Finance/Economic Act). There is no government fee to register for PAN or VAT.
