Notice Response in Mauritius
Answer a notice from a Mauritius authority inside the deadline it sets. These are the notice types the research run documented, each with the response the authority actually requires. A deadline the research could not confirm is shown as unconfirmed rather than guessed.
What we will need from you

Tax assessment / claim (income tax, CSR, VAT) - Late or incorrect return, underpayment, or audit finding
Pay the tax plus penalty/interest, or object to the assessment within the statutory objection period and, if unresolved, appeal to the Assessment Review Committee (ARC). (not verified against the authority's own page)
FSC licence non-compliance / lapse notice - Non-payment of the annual GBC/AC fee, breach of licence conditions or failure to meet substance
Settle the annual fee and late charges (25% surcharge, then 1%/month) or apply for reinstatement within 6 months of lapse (GBC reinstatement fee USD 500 + USD 300/month; AC USD 150 + USD 75/month); persistent breach can lead to licence revocation.
CBRD non-compliance notice (missing annual return / unpaid registration fee) - Failure to file the annual return or pay the annual registration fee
File the overdue return and pay the fee plus the higher 'late' rate; persistent default can lead to the company being struck off the register. (not verified against the authority's own page)
Trademark opposition / objection - A third party opposes a published mark, or the Office objects on absolute/relative grounds
File a response within the prescribed period; a foreign applicant must act through a Mauritius legal practitioner or approved agent (s.136 IP Act). (not verified against the authority's own page)
Cost breakdown
Our fee and the government’s are always separate lines. Government fees are passed through at exactly what the authority charges — we add nothing to them.
| Authority fee, where the notice carries oneonly if it appliesA notice fee depends on the notice and the stage it is answered at, and the research records no single published figure. | Confirmed before payment |
| Comriq professional fee | Fixed fee within 1 business day |
