Shops & Establishment Registration in Uttarakhand
Registration of a shop or commercial establishment under the State's own Shops and Establishments legislation in Uttarakhand. Governed by the Uttarakhand Shops and Establishments (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 2017 (Uttarakhand Act No. 03 of 2018). Applies where: Every shop or establishment employing 10 or more workers, from the date of commencement or the date it comes into existence. Renewal: None found in the Act - it replaces periodic licence renewal with a one-time registration (Section 5) plus an annual return (Section 19); establishments already registered under the ESI Act are deemed registered under this Act too (Section 5(4)). The State fee below was read from the authority's own published schedule and is passed through at cost.
