Fire NOC in Telangana
The fire-safety no-objection certificate required before the premises may be occupied in Telangana. Governed by the Telangana (Andhra Pradesh) Fire Service Act, 1999, s.13; Andhra Pradesh/Telangana Fire and Emergency Operations and Levy of Fee Rules, 2006 (G.O.Ms.No.306, Home (Prisons-A), 07.12.2006), rule 15 (fire precaution fee) and licence-fee appendix; G.O.Ms.No.71, Home (Prisons.A), 01.04.2010 (user charges for inspections); G.O.Ms.No.180 and 181, Home (Ser.IV), 03.11.2016 (fire audit charges; Rs 100/sq m for 30-45 m special structures); DG circular Rc.No.4039-2/EODB/2015 (5-year renewal period). Applies where: Commercial/business buildings above 15 m; residential 18 m and above; schools, function/cinema halls, multiplexes, religious places with plot area over 500 sq m or height 6 m and above (s.13 as applied by the DG circular of 03-06-2017). Renewal: Occupancy NOC renewal fixed at 5 years for all occupancies under s.13 (DG circular Rc.No.4039-2/EODB/2015, March 2016), with risk-based random inspections (bi-annual for schools/multiplexes/theatres; annual institutional/mercantile; twice in 5 years hotels/business/hazardous storage; once in 5 years apartments/lodges); renewal inspection user charge Rs 10,000.
