Factory Licence in Rajasthan
Registration of the premises as a factory and the licence to operate it under the Factories Act 1948 in Rajasthan. Governed by the Factories Act, 1948; Rajasthan Factories Rules, 1951 as amended by the Rajasthan Factories (Amendment) Rules, 2018 (G.S.R. 134, notification dated 14 March 2018, Rajasthan Gazette Extraordinary 23 March 2018, in force from 01-04-2018), which substituted Schedule A and Schedule B of Rule 4. Applies where: The fee matrix itself starts at 'up to 9 persons' and runs through 10-20, 21-50, 51-100, 101-250, 251-500, 501-750, 751-1000, 1001-1500, 1501-2000, 2001-3000 and above 3000 persons, against twelve installed-power bands. Renewal: Annual renewal; the licence may be taken for 1 to 10 years and the total fee is the annual slab fee multiplied by the number of years. An original licence costs 50% more than the renewal fee for the same slab. Plan approval and competency certification fees have been waived. The State fee below was read from the authority's own published schedule and is passed through at cost.
