Trade Licence in Puducherry
The municipal trade licence permitting a trade to be carried on at a given address in Puducherry. Governed by the Notification in G.O. Ms. No. 16 dated 07.09.2017 and G.O. Ms. No. 17 dated 07.09.2017 of the Local Administration Secretariat, published in the Extraordinary Gazette (Part - I) No. 154 dated 26.09.2017. Applies where: Every trade for which the above G.O.s require a licence. Industrial licences are applied for through the District Industries Centre instead. Renewal: Annual, on the financial year (1 April to 31 March). Renewal must be applied for not less than 30 days and not more than 90 days before the end of every year. The State fee below was read from the authority's own published schedule and is passed through at cost.
