Fire NOC in Mizoram
The fire-safety no-objection certificate required before the premises may be occupied in Mizoram. Governed by The Mizoram Fire Service Act, 2013, with the Mizoram Fire and Emergency Services Rules, 2019. Applies where: High-rise buildings of 15 metres and above and other important installations; the Director issues the NOC, applying the relevant clauses of the national code for areas outside Aizawl Municipal Corporation's jurisdiction. Renewal: The provisional NOC is issued for a period not exceeding 2 years. The final NOC, issued only after installation of the fire-fighting arrangements indicated in the provisional NOC, is valid for 3 years for residential buildings and 4 years for non-residential buildings; on expiry a fresh NOC is issued. The State fee below was read from the authority's own published schedule and is passed through at cost.
