The Karnataka Labour Welfare Fund (Amendment) Act, 2025 reduced the threshold from more than fifty employees to ten or more, and was operationalised with effect from 7 January 2026 - so establishments of 10 to 50 employees are newly in the net as at the date of this research and many will not yet be registered. Renewal: Not a licence. A continuing annual contribution obligation. The State fee below was read from the authority's own published schedule and is passed through at cost.
