Consent to Establish and Consent to Operate from the State Pollution Control Board in Jharkhand. Governed by the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974; Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981; Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016; Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016. Applies where: All industries requiring consent under the Water and Air Acts; the fee band follows capital investment. Renewal: Consent to Operate can be taken and paid for in advance for up to five terms. Hazardous waste authorisation runs for five years.
