Registration of a shop or commercial establishment under the State's own Shops and Establishments legislation in Gujarat. Governed by the Gujarat Shops and Establishments (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 2019; Gujarat Shops and Establishments (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2020 (Notification GHR/2020/73/GSE/19/2019/236319/M-3 dated 23 June 2020), rule 4. Applies where: Ten or more employees for registration (Form-A); fewer than ten employees file an intimation (Form-D). Certificate issued in Form-B within one day of a complete application (rule 5). Renewal: The Rules read prescribe no periodic renewal; changes must be notified in Form-G within thirty days (rule 9) with the same fee.
