Fire NOC in Gujarat
The fire-safety no-objection certificate required before the premises may be occupied in Gujarat. Governed by the Gujarat Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Act, 2013; Gujarat Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Regulations, 2022 (Regulation 13.2 for temporary structures). Applies where: Category-specific height/area thresholds as tabulated (residential 15 m+; hotels by floor area/height; educational G+1 with >500 sq m or >9 m; hospitals with beds; custodial by capacity). Below the threshold no certificate is required. Renewal: Fire Safety Certificate renewal (FSCR) with an annual declaration and six-monthly inspection/fire drills; late fee 100%-200% of the FSPA fee for delayed annual declaration (guide section 8). The authority does not publish a fee we could read at source, so the State fee is quoted per engagement and passed through at cost — we never substitute a plausible figure.
