Registration of a shop or commercial establishment under the State's own Shops and Establishments legislation in Goa. Governed by The Goa, Daman and Diu Shops and Establishments Act, 1973 & Rules, 1975. Applies where: Every covered establishment must register within 90 days of commencing business; renewal application must be filed at least 30 days before expiry. Renewal: Certificate valid up to 31 December of the year; renewable for a period of 1 year or 5 years.
