Customs Clearance in India

Import and export customs clearance — Bill of Entry or Shipping Bill filing on ICEGATE, duty computation, and coordination with the Custom House Agent through assessment to out-of-charge or let-export. NOTE ON SOURCING: duty, cess and IGST are assessed per consignment against the applicable tariff, and the 10-Sep-2026 verification run did not cover the customs tariff, so no rate is published on this page — each shipment is costed from the tariff at the time.

Cost breakdown

Our fee and the government’s are always separate lines. Government fees are passed through at exactly what the authority charges — we add nothing to them.

Government feeThere is no single figure to publish, and none should be invented. Customs duty, the social welfare surcharge / applicable cess and IGST on imports are levied ad valorem on the assessed value of each consignment at the rate in the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act 1975 for the goods' CTH, so the amount is a function of the shipment, not a fixed filing fee. Passed through at cost per consignment. Separately, the Bill of Entry (Electronic Integrated Declaration and Paperless Processing) Regulations 2018 provide charges for LATE presentation of a bill of entry; that is a default charge, not a clearance fee, and no CBIC page stating it was read on 14-Sep-2026, so it is not recorded as a line.Confirmed before payment
