Governed by the Guwahati Municipal Corporation Act, 1971 (and corresponding municipal acts for other urban local bodies). Applies where: Every business/trade operating within the Guwahati Municipal Area requires a trade licence before commencing manufacturing, exchange or storage of any activity/commodity.
