Shops & Establishment Registration in Andaman & Nicobar Islands
Registration of a shop or commercial establishment under the State's own Shops and Establishments legislation in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Governed by The Andaman and Nicobar Islands Shops and Establishment Regulation, 2004, with the A&N Islands Shops and Establishments Rules, 2005. Application is on Form A (see Rule 3), a statement under section 4. A&N Islands Shops and Establishment (Amendment) Rules were notified in 2025 and again in 2026. Renewal: Renewal is a live service and is still filed on the Labour Department's own portal.and.nic.in/labour/) together with Form C, notice of change. Renewal applications are processed within 15 working days per the portal's own dashboard note; fresh registration and Form C within 7 working days. The authority does not publish a fee we could read at source, so the State fee is quoted per engagement and passed through at cost — we never substitute a plausible figure.
