PAYE Registration in United Kingdom

Registration as an employer for PAYE with HMRC and setting up Real Time Information payroll. A Full Payment Submission reporting each employee's pay and deductions must reach HMRC on or before the day employees are paid, with an Employer Payment Summary where a reduction (for example statutory pay recovery) is claimed. The PAYE income tax deducted plus employee and employer (Class 1) National Insurance is paid by the 22nd of the following tax month electronically, or the 19th if paying by post; an employer expecting to pay under £1,500 a month may pay quarterly, by the 22nd after the quarter end. End-of-year reporting — the final FPS or EPS for the tax year, P60s to employees and P11D returns where benefits in kind are provided — also applies; the exact statutory dates for those were not confirmed against HMRC's dedicated page in the 10-Sep-2026 research and are re-confirmed at the time of filing. The 3–10 day window is Comriq's delivery window, not an HMRC service level.

What we will need from you

Upload these once. They are stored encrypted and reused across every service you buy from us.

  • Company details, company number and Corporation Tax UTR

  • Employee details, pay rates and pay dates

Pay dates set the FPS deadline — the submission must be sent on or before each payday.

  • Bank details for PAYE and National Insurance payments

  • Details of any benefits in kind or expenses provided to employees

    Drives the P11D / payrolled-benefits position.

Cost breakdown

Our fee and the government’s are always separate lines. Government fees are passed through at exactly what the authority charges — we add nothing to them.

Employer PAYE registrationHMRC publishes no registration fee on gov.uk/paye-for-employers as rendered in the 10-Sep-2026 research, so no amount — including zero — is asserted. The money that IS due is the PAYE and Class 1 NIC itself: by the 22nd of the following tax month electronically (19th by post), or quarterly for an employer expecting to pay under £1,500 a month.Confirmed before payment
