Annual Compliance in United Kingdom
The annual Companies House pack. The confirmation statement (CS01) is filed at least once every 12 months — the review period runs 12 months from incorporation or from the previous statement and you have 14 days after it ends to file — and costs £50 online or £110 on paper (current from 1 February 2026, replacing the old £34 / £62 figures). It confirms the company's details, PSC information, registered office, SIC codes and now that directors and PSCs have verified their identity under ECCTA. Annual accounts are due 21 months after the date of registration for a first set, and 9 months after the accounting reference date thereafter; what goes in them depends on size (micro, small or full), and a company is exempt from audit if it qualifies as small — meeting at least two of turnover not more than £15,000,000, balance sheet total not more than £7,500,000 and not more than 50 employees (thresholds increased for periods beginning on or after 6 April 2025). Companies House confirms that a public company files accounts on a shorter deadline — the exact figure was not isolated in the 10-Sep-2026 research and is confirmed at quote. Late accounts attract an automatic penalty, and confirmation-statement default alone can lead to strike-off, a fine of up to £5,000 and the company's assets passing to the Crown as bona vacantia.

Financial statements for the financial year
PSC details and any change to people with significant control
The PSC register must be kept current, changes filed as they occur, and PSC status confirmed on the annual confirmation statement. A PSC register has been required since 30 June 2016 and non-compliance can be a criminal offence.
Any change to directors, members, shares, SIC codes, registered office or registered email address
Companies House personal codes evidencing identity verification for each director and PSC
Existing directors and PSCs must verify within a 12-month transition tied to their confirmation statement. An unverified role blocks the confirmation-statement filing.

Our fee and the government’s are always separate lines. Government fees are passed through at exactly what the authority charges — we add nothing to them.
