Tax Registration in Cyprus

Registration with the Cyprus Tax Department for corporate income tax (15% from 1 January 2026 — the 12.5% rate applied only up to 31 December 2025) and for VAT. VAT registration is compulsory once taxable turnover exceeds €15,600 in any rolling 12 months, within 30 days of crossing the threshold; the standard VAT rate is 19% (reduced 9% / 5%, super-reduced 3%). No government fee applies to register.
